Amos Brown was born on June 20th, 1933 in Ocilla, Georgia to Virgil and Albertha Brown. Amos was the oldest sibling between his brother, Felton Brown whom preceded him in death.
He married his soulmate (Alice) on June 23rd, 1953 and they had four children: Rochelle, Reginald, Jacqueline(preceded in death) and Robert (Cynthia) Brown, Sr.
He retired from Formica where he worked for 30 plus years. Amos did not talk much, but if you asked, he had an answer. He enjoyed watching sports and listening to the baseball games on the radio. He liked to sit on the porch and read the paper and drink coffee. He was a good friend, father and provider. He ensured his family never went without. He believed in family and he demonstrated that with his involvement in family reunions. All one had to do was ask and he was there with whatever was needed.
Amos leaves to forever cherish her memories: his children; a niece, Renee (Felton); first cousin, Charlie Brown; and a full house of grand and great-grandchildren.
