Cynthia Tyson, 66, departed this life on October 8, 2018. She was born in Riceboro, GA on July 6, 1952 to the union of Tommie and Marie (Howard) Tyson who proceeded her in death. She is also proceeded in death by her brother, Donald.
Cynthia attended Liberty County High School in Midway, GA. She relocated to Toledo, OH where she became a licensed CNA. She later retired from Cooper Tire.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a son: Shawn Tyson; granddaughter: Haille McNair; great-grandchildren: Harlem and Haizel McNair all of Cincinnati, OH; sisters: Evelyn (George) Foxx of Gainesville, FL; Sarah (Moses) Tyson of Brooklyn, NY; Linda Griffin of Riceboro, GA; Janice (Eric) Gadson of Savannah, GA; and Barbara Presley of Atlanta, GA; brothers: Tommie (Alfreda) Tyson, Jr. of Lugoff, SC and Melvin Tyson of Riceboro, GA; uncles: Willie (Ruth) Howard, Jr. of Toledo, OH; Johnny (Wilhemenia) Howard and Theodore Howard of Riceboro, GA; aunts: Rose L. Richardson; Leona Wilson; Margret (Franklin) Lecounte all of Riceboro, GA and Barbara (Samuel) Wilson of Wilmington Island, GA; a spiritual brother and sister: Bishop Fredrick McIver and DeLawn McIver; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Services will be held Saturday, October 20th at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, 2835 Beekman St., Cincinnati. Family Hour will be 3:00 p.m. with funeral following at 4:00 p.m.
