Gloria Jean Christman

Miss Gloria“Jeannie” Christman a.k.a “GG” died peacefully in Mercy Hospital on November 10th 2019 in Cincinnati, OH at the age of 55.

Gloria is survived by her Father Richard Phoenix of Cincinnati, OH; Two sons, Dana Christman Sr. (Nikita Christman) and Darnell Christman; siblings, Harold Christman of Maryland, David Christman and Michael Christman of Cincinnati, OH; and 7 grandchildren, Nikira, Sheriah, Nikila, Nikima, Zoey, Dana Jr. and Mason. She is preceded in death by Her Mother Leona Walker(Christman) of Cincinnati, OH and Her Uncle David Christman of Mason, OH.

Gloria was born on July 4th 1964 in Cincinnati, OH to Leona Walker. She graduated from Aiken High School in 1982 with a High school diploma. She never married, but did want to have children. Over 4 years after high school she welcomed 2 children into her home and Gloria set about teaching them how to become men on her own. Her children remember her as a strong and determined Mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Gloria was accomplished at auto mechanics and often would repair family and friends vehicles. She was a caring individual who loved to barbecue and who was passionate about playing pool and making people laugh.

A funeral is scheduled for 11:00am viewing at Preston Charles Funeral home at 400 N. Wayne Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45215, with a memorial service to follow at 12:00pm. Pastor Cheryl Coggins will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Gloria’s life.
