Jennifer Taylor-Coleman

Jennifer Taylor-Coleman was born on April 17, 1959 in Cincinnati, OH, to the late Dorothy Taylor. The second of four daughters, Jennifer was reared with her siblings in the Lincoln Courts of the West End.

Known affectionately as Jenny, she attended New St. Paul Baptist Church as a child and attended West Hills High School.  Jennifer was a hard-working mother who was employed for more than 30+ years for the City of Cincinnati in the Sanitation Department, retiring in 2015. It was at her job she met her life-long husband, Jesse Coleman. They married on October 6, 1993 until his death in 2004. They have three children, who were their pride and joy.

Jenny was known for her quirky style and witty sense of humor. She was an avid Netflix binge watcher and loved listening to Lincoln Ware’s talk radio show. Jenny frequently attended openings of new restaurants in the tristate area. In her later years, she thoroughly enjoyed family cruises with her children and in-laws. To the surprise of everyone who knew her, she became the care keeper of stray felines and crows in the sanitation work yard, where she fed them daily.

A much-loved Jennifer passed away peacefully December 6, 2019 with her family and friends present.

Jennifer leaves to cherish her memory three children: Ashleigh, Ai-Rick and Madison; sisters:  Pamela Taylor-Peterson, Karen Taylor-Adeniyi, and Elizabeth Taylor-Batte (DeWayne); aunts: Angela and Rebekah; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nephews, relatives, and friends.
