Leo Washington was born June 22, 1946 to the union of Archie and Susie (Sheffield) Washington in Butler, Alabama.
Although not a frequent church attendee he would sometimes attend The First Baptist Church of Hazelwood.
Leo lost his mother at an early age which time he, along with his father Archie and brother Albert (both of whom preceded him in death) moved to Cincinnati.
Leo was educated in both the Cincinnati and Sycamore Public School Systems. In his early years Leo was known as a sharp dresser. He was a jokester and even in his darkest days always maintained a positive outlook on life. Leo was a kind soul and had a profound love for his family and friend. He had a heart of gold and though not a man of many means he would go out of his way to help those in need any way that he could.
Leo leaves to cherish his memory two sisters: LaJoyce Sheffield of Cincinnati, Ohio and Beatrice Norfleet of California. Two special cousins: Sadie Miller and Betty Treadwell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
