Lillia (Rutland) Graves was born in Macon, Georgia on April 3, 1921 to the union of Clara and Anthony Rutland. Her family relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio when she was very young.
Lillia worked at General Hospital (now University Hospital) for 35 years.
Lillia was preceded in death by her parents; her four beloved brothers Edmund, NC, Anthony Jr., (Banks) and Saul; and five beloved sisters, Jessie Bridges, Sara Allen, Clara Graves, Fanny Bryant and Hattie Durham.
She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Joe D. Graves; two loving sisters, Louise Jones and Kay-Lee Martin; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, a host of family members, neighbors and friends; also two nephews, Kim Turner of Laurel, Mississippi, and Joe-Dean Lee of Atlanta, Georgia; and family friend, Greg Molden of Atlanta, Georgia.
