Patricia Hammond Obituary

Patricia Ann Hammond was born in McDonough, GA to the union of John Wesley and Mary Alice Hammond. She was reared by Eugene P. Long. Her parents preceded her in death.

She was known and called by the name “Ann” by her family and childhood friends. At the early age of thirteen in McDonough, GA she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.  During the summer months  of GA at the age of fifteen she learned to pick cotton and peaches on her grandparents farm. During this period of her life in GA there was no electricity but Kerosene  lamps, logs, Well water, Out Houses etc, so quickly she learned the value of having such things and always looked forward to  her winter visits with family away from the Southern way of life.

Her education was with the Cincinnati Public School system. She received her Cosmetology  License from Poro Beauty College. She went on to pursue career goals into the field of nursing and received her certification as a Nurse Assistant. She  also had a unique and gifted way of decorating, so she specialized in Interior Decorating. She was industrious, gifted and always busy doing something.

In 1964 she married Ronald Crawford. To this union was born Michelle Crawford. In 1998 she rededicated her life to Christ under Bishop Johnnie L Johnson of Greater Bethlehem Temple Apostolic Faith Church. She was baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost. She was faithful and very active in the church. She served on the Missionary Department and the Intercessors of Prayer Ministry. As she grew in God many were warmed by her delightful personality, seeking wisdom and counsel. After the demise of her pastor she sought permission to help other ministries. Later she attended The Word of Life Bible School under Dr. Donna E Jackson  and later joined the ministry of Believers in Christ Ministries Inc. Serving under Pastor Jackson she received her Ministerial License to Evangelize in Outreach Ministry. She served as an Associate Minister, Sunday School Teacher, Young Peoples Counselor, Altar Worker and License Armourbearer to Dr. Jackson, where she travelled extensively. Later she joined Forever Praise Ministries International under Apostle Toni Loshiavo where she was ordained as an Evangelist and Prophetess.

She loved hosting and planning celebrations for family and friends.  She was outgoing, warm-hearted, and loved to bring laughter. She loved life, her family. She loved music, playing cards & games and a delicious meal.

Ann was a Worshiper and Praiser. She  had a passion for Intercessory Prayer. She embraced the Prayerline Ministry. She would often partnership with ministries serving in this capacity for programs. She was very compassionate and caring regarding the souls of mankind. She supported many and participated in many events and Women’s Programs.

She loved shopping, travelling and never liked being alone. She had a special loving caring bond for her Grandson Brandon and her Great –grand children.

She leaves to cherish her memory, Mr. Clifford Evans (Fiancé), daughter Michelle Crawford-Davis (Jesse), Grandson Brandon Crawford, Five Great-Grandchildren, Kamiah, Kyrielle, Kameron Crawford, Jayceeon Walker and Jurado Davis all of Cincinnati, Four Sisters: Beverly Brown (Samuel Sr.), Evangelist Alberta Hammond, Valerie Hogan, Francine Jorden (Dwight) all of Cincinnati, Two Aunts: Lillie Turner of Kingsport, TN, Mary Frances Thomas of McDonough GA, and a great host of Nephews, Nieces and Relatives
