Ronald "Ronnie" Moore

Ronald Reginald Moore was born on January 28, 1954, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Walter L. Moore, Sr. and Althenia N. Moore.  Ronald departed this life on February 1, 2019 at the Woodridge Care Center in Fairfield, Ohio.

Ronald affectionately known as Ronnie by family and friends graduated from the prestigious Walnut Hills High School in 1972.  He attended Bowling Green State University but transferred to the University of Cincinnati, where he became a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.  Ronnie became employed at the 2020 Juvenile Detention Center and the Hamilton Justice Center as a Bailiff and Deputy Sheriff.  Later in his career, he worked at the Healthpoint Medical Center in Covington, Ky.  He spent the last years of his life attending to his mother.                                                                                                                                                          

Ronnie’s favorite thing in the world was spending time with family.  You could always find him visiting his loved ones, having a good laugh at family gatherings and playing with the youth of the family. Ronnie really enjoyed nature and everything fun especially the zoo. He would even make trips to the zoo sometimes multiple times per week.  He was always sure to pick up some White Castles on his way back.  Ronnie also had a knack for giving everyone their own special nickname and was sure to call you by that name every time he would see you.

Ronnie leaves to cherish his memory: three children, Rahsaan Moore, Dara N. Moore and Jamaal M. Moore; his mother, Althenia N. Moore; one brother, Walter L. Moore, Jr. (Jackie); 2 sisters, Linda Littlejohn and Vanessa Moore; 11 grandchildren and a host of relatives, fraternity brothers and friends.
