Teresa Franklin

Teresa Regina Franklin was born April 16, 1963 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Benjamin and Christine Marie Franklin.  She attended the Hamilton City Schools and lived in Hamilton most of her life until moving to Cincinnati, Ohio.  During this time, she made a host of friends.

As we all know, she was a mild mannered soft spoken person with a lisp when she spoke.  Teresa stayed steadfast and held on the God’s unchanging hands in spite of the circumstances.  She loved God with all that was within her.  When visiting her house, you would always be greeted with her uplifting gospel music and spiritual messages.  She would always say “Praise is what I do, because I’m going to praise the Lord.”  These were her favorite songs.  Teresa praised Him in the midst of the storm during her stays in the hospital and in the nursing homes.

Proceeding her death are her amazing parents, Benjamin Sr. and Christine Marie Franklin, her brother, Louise Sparrow, and two sisters, Louise Hall and Ernestine Davis.

Teresa loved her children and grandchildren so much, but she leaves her 3 sons; Charles Riggins (Scotter), Jeff (Derrick) Singletary (Destiny) and Sedrick Franklin.  Ben Franklin, Jr. (brother), Carolyn Cooley (Tom), Naomi Franklin, Mary Frances Franklin, Patricia Price (Tyrone), Daronna Simmons, Karen Franklin-Woods (Albert), Christy Lynn Franklin, Michelle Hercules, Sherry Davis (sisters) 9 Grandchildren, Ashen Riggins, Chantel Herley, Acasia McGee, Miracle Riggins, Derrahyna Singletary, Sire Charles Riggins, Shawnessa Corbin, Derrick Singletary, and 1 great granddaughter Sage Justice Riggins.
