Thomas Beverly, Jr. was born on October 26, 1936, to the late Zolaree (Caldwell) and Thomas Beverly, Sr., in Hale County, Alabama. He departed this life on August 6, 2018.
Thomas attended the Hale Country Training School. He was employed by Hale County School Transportation. He also held several other jobs while living in Hale County.
Thomas was joined in holy matrimony with Annie M. Wilson on May 7, 1959. To this union was born four beautiful children. Thomas and Annie moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1962, where he began working at Nutone, where he became a supervisor. He also worked at Camargo Country Club. He retired from both Nutone and Camargo Country Club. Thomas loved his children and spent many summers in Alabama taking them to visit family.
Thomas accepted Christ in 2016 and became a member of the New Mission Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Tracy E. Ventus. He enjoyed talking, a lot — and never met a stranger. Thomas loved to eat and spend time with his extended family.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Zolaree (Caldwell) and Thomas Sr.; brothers, Elijah, Johnny and Michael; and sister, Lucy.
Thomas leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife of 59 years, Annie M. Beverly; four children, Wilbur, Gerald, Gwendolyn (James) and Thomas Wayne; 15 grandchildren, Antonio, Anthony (Keisha), Shameka (Stephen), Jasmine, William, Christopher, Chala, Autumn, Malik, Kayla, Nyiel, Thomas IV, Nakia, Brandy and Jeramiah; 12 great-grandchildren; 11 brothers, Bobby, Norah, Joseph (Jean), Henry (Lily), Larry, Preston, Ronald; four sisters, Annie, Mable, Mary (Adell) and Betty (Miller); two aunts, Lucille and Martha; four brothers-in-law and seven sisters-in-law; two godchildren, Lisa and Akeisha; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
