Willie C.Flinn, 68, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, Dec 8, 2018. He was born on Nov 4, 1950 to the Rev. John H. Flinn and Mary Ruth (Herring) Flinn. He attended the Akron public schools. He served in the Army after high school.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are his 3 brothers: John E. (Flora)Flinn, Powell, OH, Rev. Donald (Cheryl)Flinn, Rowlette, TX, Michael (Audrey) Flinn, Akron, OH,: 5 sisters: Minnie J. Owens, Dallas TX, Henrietta Sancett, Paramount, CA, Marilyn Miller, Spartanburg, SC, Shirley Flinn, Dallas, TX, and Linda Flinn, Long Beach, CA,. step-mother, Mrs. Vivian (Sommerville) Flinn, loving mate, Rebecca Ann Cox, special friends Dea. Pennington, the Crigler family, beloved nieces Chante and Kim and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Mary Ruth Flinn(Herring) and Rev. John H. Flinn; his sister Josephine (Flinn) Taylor. He was dearly loved and will be missed but he is not alone, he is united with his loved ones.

With tender thoughts and thankfulness, the family wishes to acknowledge the many comforting messages, tributes, prayers and other expressions of kindness and concern extended to us during this time. A special thank you to Queen City Hospice staff.
