Albert Daryl Cooper, Sr. was born on December 23, 1957, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late George and Algertha Cooper. He peacefully transitioned January 6, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to family.
Albert was one of six brothers and shared deep, lifelong bonds with his sisters. Family was the center of his world. He was raised to protect and care for those he loved and lived out that calling every day of his life. He would go above and beyond for his family, never hesitating to show up when he was needed. His love was steady, loyal, and unconditional.
A devoted member of St. Michael’s Church, Albert’s faith guided him throughout his life. In his youth, he participated in the Boy Scouts, learning values of service, responsibility, and brotherhood that stayed with him into adulthood. He cherished time spent with childhood friends, sharing laughter, memories, and joy that never faded.
Albert Sr was the proud father of three children: Albert Cooper, Jr., LaToya McAfee, and Myra (Rob) Dolch. He found immense pride and happiness in his role as a grandfather to Ny’onna Cooper, Landon McRae, Shamya Paisley, and Mylon Paisley, loving them deeply and wholeheartedly.
For many years, Albert Sr worked as a welder at KD Camp, providing for his family with dedication and integrity. After retiring, he embraced life fully, living freely, joyfully, and on his own terms. Albert will be remembered for his kind heart, protective spirit, and the deep love he poured into everyone around him. He will be forever cherished and truly missed.
