A Life Well Lived
Albert James Carter III was born January 25, 1949 in Tampa, Florida to the late Albert James Carter Jr. and Susie Bell Carter. Albert attended Lincoln Heights Baptist church as a child where he would accept Christ as his lord and savior. He attended Hughes High School and earned his GED upon returning home from service in the United States Army. Albert served in the Vietnam War from 66'-69' and was awarded the National Defense Metal, Vietnam Service Metal and Vietnam Campaign Metal. Once Albert was honorably discharged, he settled in Baton Rouge, Louisiana until his return back to Cincinnati, Ohio.
Albert married his partner of over 25 years Connie Carter in 2014 where they would share their love until the end. He was the proud father of 4 daughters Erica, Delinda, Jessica, and Deanna. He was also the proud stepfather of James White and Yancey White.
Albert worked as an over the road truck driver for over 30 years. Once he stopped trucking, he worked for Peterman Bus Service over 15 years until he retired.
He will be remembered as charismatic, kind and the life of the party. Albert's most favorite past times were bowling where he was apart of many bowling leagues, watching the Cincinnati Bengals with family and friends and catching some of the Cincinnati Reds games.
Albert departed this life and entered eternal rest on July 20, 2026. His final days were spent with many stories of his life and sharing lots of war stories.
