Alice Conjean Reynolds Steed was born on July 24, 1950 in Huntington, West Virginia. She was the youngest of two daughters of Connie Reynolds and Gussie Sowell Reynolds. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, as well as her husband Tommie W Steed, Sr. and her daughter Sonja Y Reynolds Hart. Alice crossed over from this life to paradise on April 29 2025.
Upon graduation from high school in 1968, Alice moved to Cincinnati, Ohio to join her sister Sandra L Johnson to start a new adventure and make a life of her own. She successfully studied to become a Licensed Practical Nurse and had a thriving career as she was employed for years both at The Hyde Park Villa and Judson House Nursing Homes. On Dec 30, 1977, she formed a union with Tommie W Steed, Sr., with whom she was married until his passing from this life in July, 1995.
In retirement, Alice dedicated her time to her Faith, Family and Friends. She attended The President Drive Church of Christ, where she was a proud and active member for over 30 years.
She is survived by her three sons, Nicholas Reynolds of Decatur, GA; Tommie Steed, Jr. and Alan Steed of Cincinnati, OH who will never forget the love and support that she brought to their lives. She is also survived by her sister Sandra Johnson and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family and friends who dearly loved her.
