At an early age, she was introduced to God, our creator, by her parents and they attended New Hope Baptist Church in Evergreen. At a young age, she confessed her love for Jesus as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at New Hope Baptist Church. She was a devoted and faithful member for many years, attending Sunday School and BYTU.

She maintained her religious foundation and joined Revelation Baptist Church under the late Rev. Sangters. Revelation Baptist Church which was a game changer for her because she continued her worship and Bible studies, but it is also where she met the love of her life, Brother Andrew Todd and they married in 1957 and shared 39 blessed years together until his earthly transition in 1994.

In the early 1960’s, the Todd’s moved their membership to First Baptist Church of Kennedy Heights where the Revered Earl S. Wagner was Pastor.

Sister Annie Todd attended Wednesday after-noon Bible study faithfully. She also served First Baptist Church in numerous capacities from 1960-2012 (52 active years) as Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School, Women’s Day Chairperson and President of the Missionary Ministry for over 50 Years. However, she remained devoted to her church until her health declined.

She was blessed and honored for many years to be First Baptist Church representative within the religious sector of the County, Sub-District, District, State, National and served as an Officer within the Women’s Auxiliary: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Devotional Leader, Clinic Lecturer, etc.
