Antwon Dominique Townsend

July 24, 1982 ~ September 6, 2023 (age 41) 41 Years Old

Obituary

Antwon “Dominique” Townsend was born on July 24, 1982, to the late Myra Renise Townsend Hinkston and Clarence David Green Jr. in Cincinnati, Ohio.  He grew up primarily in Cumminsville, alongside his brother, sisters, and closest cousins Keshia and Brandon (who were like siblings).  Aunt Diane (his mother sister) was like a second mother to him, after his mother’s passing. At a young age, Antwon preferred to go by his middle name Dominique. From then forward, that is what he was known by.

Dominique loved to cook and spent most of his life doing that which he loved. Dominique was like a Sour Patch kid. He loved extremely hard, and nothing held him back from being brutally honest. In the same breath, he always told his family how much he loved and adored them.  Dominique was very protective of the ones he loved and looked up to them. He was known as a giver with a big heart. He loved music and dancing, and many would agree he was good at it.

From the day he was born until his sun set, Dominique touched the lives of everyone he encountered.  He left a lasting impression with everyone, leaving them with stories to tell for many years to come. When you think of Dominique, you can’t help but to smile. We are sure this how he would want to be remembered.

Leaving to cherish in his memory, is his oldest brother Damien Townsend, his only niece Myra (named after his mother), three younger sisters Ebony (Michelle) Wright, Alexandria Hinkston and Alexis Hinkston.  His two sons, Antwon Dominique Townsend Jr. and Antonio De’ontae Townsend.  Dominique always boasted about being a papa to his first and only grandson Da’marii Santana Underwood. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins to cherish him forever.

In addition, Dominique leaves behind a host of friends who love him and will miss him dearly.

Dominique will always be in our hearts.

“If there ever comes a day where we can’t be together, keep me in your heart.  I will stay there forever.”
