Becky Renae Fitzhugh

Becky was born on September 2, 1965, in Cincinnati, Ohio and she departed this life on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at Hospice of Cincinnati Blue Ash. Growing up, her home was always filled with love and plenty of extended family members. She was a proud graduate of Our Ladies of the Angels High School, Class of 1983 and received an Associates Degree in Applied Science from Cincinnati State.

Becky gave her life to Jesus early on and she received a firm foundation at Christ Emmauel Christian Fellowship. While there, she discovered her love for sign language and was a part of the H.A.N.D.S. Ministry. Later, she became a member of Word of Life Ministry Christian Center where she served for over 18 years. She volunteered at the Food Pantry, was active in the Single’s/Women’s Ministries and was a leader in the Hands of Praise and the Bookstore. In addition to all of this, Becky participated in a Daily Prayer Call Ministry for several years.

Most of her career was in the field of finance. She was employed with U.S. Bank for close to 20 years, as a Sr. Underwriter.

Over the years, Becky shared her hobbies with everyone. She was an avid baker, cook, candle maker, decorator and a certified organizer. She even had a YouTube channel that focused on shopping hauls from her favorite store, “The Dollar Tree”.

She lived life to the fullest, but what gave her the most joy was her son, Ian. She devoted her life to being his mother. Together they experienced their love of travel, going on many trips and cruises.

Becky never met a stranger and she was a loyal friend to many. She battled illness for many years and was victorious through it all because she knew the power of God and the power of her words.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Verdicue Fitzhugh and her brother, Othniel Fitzhugh.

Becky leaves to cherish her memory: her devoted and loving son, Ian Alexander Fitzhugh; close cousins, Darlene Brown, Vernon Pigram, Jr., Debbie Caldwell and Davona Jeter; special friends, Danette Hayes, Rhonda Wilson, Laverne Rutledge, Tia Watson and Mrs. Gordon; goddaughters, Asia and Amaris Hayes; and a host of other relatives and friends.
