Bettye Jean McDonald Ramsey

Bettye Jean Ramsey (McDonald) was born in Montgomery, Alabama to the late Willie and Callie McDonald on April 28, 1935. She was the youngest of eight children, all preceded her in death.
Bettye accepted Jesus Christ at a young age and was devoted to serving at Allen Temple AME Church. While attending Allen Temple, she served on the Steward Board, a member of the ExCel Club and was an active member of CHUMS, Inc.
Bettye graduated from Alabama State University where she obtained her Bachelors of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. It was her passion for teaching that led her to begin her career with Cincinnati Public Schools, where she dedicated 31 years of service until her retirement.
On March 10, 1961, Bettye was joined in Holy Matrimony with the love of her life, Glen E. Ramsey, Sr. who preceded her in death. To this union was one son, Glen E. Ramsey, Jr. (Sandra Kaye) and one daughter, Monica Rae Ramsey Robb (Maury). Bettye
