Brennan Love Ball was born on November 16, 1985, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Brenda and Bobby Ball, Sr. He departed this life unexpectedly on December 21, 2021. Brennan attended Kilgour Elementary, Eastern Hills Jr. High and graduated from Hughes High School. He continued his education at the University of Cincinnati where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work.
Brennan had been a member of Corinthian Baptist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio under the pastorate of Pastor Kazava Smith. Born to a family with a praying great-grandmother, Irene “Ada Bea” Hentz, as well as his loving granny, Idella Aridge, Brennan often accompanied his now 91-year-old grandmother to Sunday service.
Having a special affinity for the misfortunate, Brennan used that gift in his career choices as a Volunteer Case Worker at the Cincinnati Chapter of the Red Cross, at St. Vincent de Paul in Cincinnati Ohio, a Housing Case Manager at Interfaith Hospi[1]tality Network in Cincinnati, Ohio and a Case Manager at Weingart Center in Los Angeles, California. In 2020, Brennan received recognition as a 2019-2020 Public Allies of Cincinnati graduate noting his “dedicated service, adaptability, resilience and leadership to create a more just and equitable society” as an AmeriCorps member.
Brennan called himself “well-travelled” and regardless of how he got there…he travelled to South Africa, the United Kingdom, Germany, as well as throughout the United States.
Brennan left to cherish memories, his mother, Brenda Ball and his father, Bobby Ball, Sr. Pray for his precious granny, Idella Aridge, who has lost her grandbaby. He also leaves his siblings, LaDon (Jane) Aridge, Bobby Ball, Jr., JoAnn (Mike) Whitehead[1]Wells, Rashaan Ball, Raphael (Autumn) Ball, Raphaol (Dianah) Ball and Ayana Ball. Missing him as well will be his uncles, Bruce (Jennifer) Scott, Andre’ (Linda) Aridge, Darrell (Annette) Aridge and his aunts, Angela Aridge and Annette Binford. He also leaves his cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends who will sorely miss him and cherish the special times shared.
