Carrie Jester

Carrie E. Jester passed away at Twin Towers after a lengthy illness. She was born March 28, 1942 to the union of Wesley and Mamie Jones. She was educated in the Cincinnati Public School System.

She was a member of Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church for many years, before joining Greater New Hope Baptist Church. She recently joined New Jerusalem Baptist Church and was a member there until her death.

Mrs. Jester was preceded in death by her parents, Mamie (Isiah) Dixon and Wesley (Isabella) Jones; husband, Curtis Jester; grandchildren, Tyaira Jackson, Tristan Jester and Darrliena McDonald; and great-grandchild, Dahari Smith.

Carrie leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Steven (Carlotta Williams) Jones, Vincent Jester, Lena (Darryle) McDonald, Marquita Jester and Winona Jackson; grandchildren, Mona McKee, Steven Jones II, Jenndorian Smith, Brayson (Chaela) Smith, Curtis L. Jester, Destiny Jackson, Vincent C. Jester II and Weslee Jester; bonus grandchildren, Brandon and Darryle (Mattie) McDonald; great-grandchildren, Steven J. Jones III, Shamiyah and Keziyah McKee, Amiya Sanders, Aria Smith, Kristan Hodrick, Kayleen Ornate and Tristan Jester; bonus greatgrandchildren, Aidan, Allen and Jamarian McDonald; uncle, John Jones; sister-in-law, Rosa Crigler; godsisters, Barbra Betts and Sharon Jasper; her fond cousins, James Thomas and Geraldine Mills; godchildren, Cynthia Brown, Tonia (Tony) Dorsey and Lori (Sanit) Clifford; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
