CHARLES MARTIN was born on January 16th, 1945 in Cincinnati, OH to Fred and Susie Martin and was the second oldest of five children from this union. Charles departed the life peacefully on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2020 at the tender age of 75.

Charles attended Robert A. Taft High School where he received his high school diploma. He received his certificate of Baptism at Robbins Street Christian Church located in Covington, KY.

He was a proud member of the military and served in the U.S. Air Force as an Operating Room Medic. During his tenure in the Air Force, Charles received many awards, such as: the Air Force Longevity Service Award, the Good Conduct Medal Award, and the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award. After his military service ended, he returned to Cincinnati and obtained a job as a Diesel Mechanic. Shortly afterwards, he became a truck driver for the United States Postal Services where he worked until retirement.

Charles enjoyed gambling, bowling, traveling and giving lectures to not only his grandchildren, but to all who listened. Above all things, Charles was an AVID fisherman; who would take his boat every year to Canada and traveled to numerous states to fish.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Fred Martin, Jr.; and his sister, Ruby Martin.

He is survived by: his loving wife, Delores Martin; three sons, Christopher Martin, Marcus Martin and Dr. Brian Cole; his brothers, Kenneth and Craig Martin; his step-children, Sylkena (Randell) Johnson, Dollisa (Maurice) Richardson and DeLorean (Shana) Chancellor; her grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
