Christopher Gorman Miller “Chris” was born 8/24/1964 to Judith Diane Miller & Roscoe Miller Jr. in Dayton, Ohio.
He graduated from J. H. Patterson Cooperative High School, class of 1982 where he was a member of the track team under coach Craig Wallace.
After high school he entered the armed forces a few months later in 1983 and proudly served in the United States Air Force.
In 1989 he married Aretha Mims & through that union they had a beautiful baby girl Krista Diane Miller in 1992.
After 23 years of service he retired from the USAF as a technical sergeant in 2006. After retirement he relocated to San Diego, California.
He passed away suddenly on 8/6/2025 after experiencing & suffering from recent health issues.
He was preceded in death by both parents, Roscoe & Judith Miller & maternal grandmother Wilma Jean Morgan. He is survived by his loving daughter Krista D. Hooten (Marcus) & 5 grandchildren - Karter, Maeyani, Jesiah, Julian & Jonah. Two loving aunts, Cameron Demic (Lawrence) & Karla Jan Biggs (Edwin).
Chris lived & served all over the world but his cherished moments was whenever he was with family & friends. He always put family & those he loved first above himself. He is certainly missed by all who knew and loved him.
