Craig Maurice Middleton was born on April 25, 1965, at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio to William Jr. and Joy King Middleton.
Craig was baptized at an early age at St. Anthonys Church, where he often returned for worship as an adult.
He attended Withrow High School and worked as an intern at the Cincinnati Post as a photographer. He graduated in 1983 and attended Wilberforce University, where he joined The Brothers of Success (B.O.S) Organization. He was named “Serious 8”. Craig’s work study program consisted of assisting the Director in the Department of Arts. He graduated and received a Bachelor of Arts degree.
His mother referred to him as the “Renaissance Man” because he was multi - talented and extremely knowledgeable. He was definitely a loquacious person (talkative). He had a great eye for photography and drawings. The love for animals began at a young age and continued throughout his life. Zambuka was his last beloved cat.
He was a diligent, hard worker in the food industry for many years.
Craig lived up to his childhood nickname “Tiger” on numerous occasions. He overcame several health battles for years but succumbed to his last battle on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Christ Hospital.
Craig leaves to cherish his memories: his mother Joy King Middleton; his brothers: William III (La' Donna) Middleton, Andrew G. Middleton, David (LaToya) Middleton; nieces and nephews: Sasa, Negashi, Marino, Cameron, Skylar, Bryson and a host of cousins and friends.
Craig was preceded in death by his Father William Middleton, Jr. and Grandparents William, Sr. and Flora Middleton, Andrew and Millie King.
