Darryl R. Williams

Darryl Russell Williams, Sr. was born on June 24, 1950, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the union of Jerome and Margeret (nee Smith). Both of his parents preceded him in death. Darryl Sr. was the second of three children; his brother, Jerome Williams and was preceded in death by his brother, Landall Williams, Sr., also known as Salaam Muhmmad.

He attended Courter Tech High School of Cincinnati where he received a certificate for Tractor Trailer Truck Driver with ABF Trucks. He was a man of many passions and had a heart of gold. He enjoyed fishing, collecting coins, watching football, baseball and spending time with family and friends. He also loved lifting weights with his son. Darryl enjoyed going to the racetracks with his brother Jerome. They did everything together.

He married the love of his life, Lisa Renee (nee Kirkland) on November 4, 2001. They shared 24 years and this union was blessed with three children: JoVanna, DeVonna and one son, Darryl Williams, Jr.

Darryl Sr. leaves to cherish his memory: his two daughters, one son, several grandchildren and a host of other relatives.

On August 8, 2025, Darryl was surrounded by his loving family when he transitioned to be with the Lord.

A precious one from us is gone, a voice we loved is still.
