David James Howard

David James Howard was born in Middletown, Ohio on August 27, 1947 to his parents, Elizabeth and Griel Howard. He was the 3rd child of four, 2 sisters and a brother. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Richard Johnson, ex-wife Ilene Howard and wife Marlene Howard.

David competed 12 years of schooling and graduated from Middletown High School. David was employed at Square D, Propipe and Jefferson Smurfit just to name a few. He spent his down time watching sports and always had to watch the NY Giants. He enjoyed cooking and loved getting down on the grill. Uncle Dave as everyone knew him also made sure everyone ate.

David was a loving brother, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend. He wanted nothing more in life then for his family to know that we are family and to stay together. He was a beacon of unwavering friendship and kindness. He left a mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

On November 7, 2024 at 10:58 PM David was called home to be with his wife. David leaves to celebrate his retirement to his sisters, Peggy Johnson and LaFreda Howard, his brother, Sylvester Brown, his sons, David Howard, II and Benjamin (Juton) Howard, his daughters, Jozlin Johnson, Ta’Ala Johnson, Za’Kirra Johnson and Jai Howard, 20 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and many friends.
