Deborah Louise Brown was born on November 30, 1958, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Lee Dale (Leroy) P. Brown and Cleora O. Brown.
On January 3, 2026, her Heavenly Father called her home surrounded by family. Debbie accepted Christ at a young age at New Mission Missionary Baptist Church under Pastor, Rev. Robert Smith. Debbie was reinstated and rebaptized under Pastor Ventus.
Her education began at the Madisonville Elementary School, followed by Lyons Jr. High and graduated from Withrow High School.
On August 1, 1981, Debbie was blessed with a son, the late Michael Lee Dale Brown who she truly loved with all her heart. A bond that couldn’t be broken until his death.
Everyone who knew Debbie, knew she had a passion for cooking. She started her career at Derringer Food and Vending Services. She would leave and help her sister, Sylvia out at Sylvia’s Homestyle Catering. Later in her career, she worked at Deupree House and for the Children’s Home of Cincinnati. Even after leaving the work industry, the love for cooking never stopped. Debbie would still cook and serve others all the way up until she went home to be with the Lord. “That was her ministry.” She took care of those who had a need. If you had a need, she would try her best to take care of it. Debbie prayed for everyone.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Cleora Brown; son, Michael Brown; siblings, Loretta Harrison (Sonny), Leroy Brown, Jr. (Millie), Darvin Brown, Sr. (Sandy) and Sylvia M. Johnson; and niece, Portia Antoinette Brown.
She leaves to celebrate her homegoing: siblings, Richard Brown, Sr. (Beverly), Dorthey McKee, Joanne Dates, Alfred Brown, Sr. and Portia Ventus (Rev. Tracy); sister/niece, Antoinette Withers; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Debbie’s favorite saying was “Won’t He Do It” and that He did on January 3, 2026 at 2:55 p.m.
