Dorinda Davis

Dorinda Gayle Davis, 54, transitioned from labor to reward at Kettering Hospital on February 23, 2026. She was born on April 2, 1971 in Middletown, Ohio to Josiah and Nancy Morgan. Dorinda was educated in the Middletown School System, graduating in 1989. She spent her life working for Avon for many years until they closed.

Dorinda loved the Lord and was never shy about telling anyone about him, and she loved inviting anyone to attend church at New Life Christian Center with her. In her youth she attended Towne Boulevard Church of God and Bethel AME.

In June of 2000 Dorinda married Troy Alexander Davis and became parents of her “2 Heartbeats” Dominique Alexander of the United States Navy and Donte Galen who resides in Middletown, Ohio. Dorinda also loved to travel visiting California, New York, New Jersey, Tennessee, Mexico, Illinois, Canada, Alabama, Florida, New Orleans, Georgia, and she also enjoyed cruises.

She was preceded in death by her parents Josiah and Nancy Morgan, and also her brother Dale Morgan.

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband Troy Davis, sons: Dominique Alexander and Dontay Galen, her siblings: Dean (Yvonne) Morgan, Donna (Anthony) Jackson, her In-Laws Rev Hershel and Lucille Davis, Matt, Mark, and Jennifer Davis. She also had a great bond with her nieces and nephews who are left to celebrate her life- Latanya, Andrea, Danielle, Devon, Dohnovon, Darah, DeAyrah, Taja, and a host of other relatives and close friends Shawnetta and James Dent.

She will be lovingly missed!!
