Born in Virginia, Dr. Pinder dedicated her life to education and social work, earning her bachelor's degree from Hampton Institute (now Hampton University) in psychology before going on to receive her master's and PhD in social work from The Ohio State University. As both a social worker and educator, she spent decades giving back to her community, uplifting those in need, and shaping future generations.
A devoted mother of five, grandmother of seven, and great-grandmother of five, she has always cherished time with family, especially during the holidays. Her love for exploration has taken her across Italy, Africa, Greece, the Bahamas, and most of the U.S., reflecting her deep curiosity and appreciation for the world.
Her lifelong dedication to family and service compels us to celebrate her remarkable journey. Her impact as a trailblazing woman, continues to shape the present and the future.
