Dwight Andrew Miller was born on June 19, 1952 to the late Fred and Mary Elizabeth Miller in Cincinnati, Ohio. Growing up he attended St. Mark Catholic Church. He graduated from Purcell High School in 1970. He continued his education at the University of Cincinnati before being drafted into the Army. Dwight was honorably discharged from the military in 1979.
Dwight enjoyed helping others in the neighborhood of Evanston where he grew up. He was a handyman who enjoyed painting and landscaping. He took pride in beautifying the neighborhood. Dwight was also a sports fan. He loved the Cincinnati Reds.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Mary Elizabeth Miller and his oldest sister, Angela Miller.
Dwight leaves to cherish his memory: two sons, Andrew and Justin Miller-Lightner; one daughter, Justice Miller Lightner; a special friend, Judy Lightner; seven grandchildren, Aniyla, Andrew, Adrian, Ju’Tiyah, Terrance, Jurian and Ryland; one sister, Barbara Woods; one aunt, Christine Cunningham; one uncle, Eddie Miller; two nephews, Malcolm Miller and Brandon Woods; one niece, Brittney Woods; three great nephews, Malcolm Miller, Jr., Braylon and Brandon Jr. Friason; and a host of cousins.
