Edwin Butts, Sr.

Edwin Butts, a beloved and respected Associate Pastor, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness and faith. Born and raised in a family of deep-rooted values. Edwin attended Taft High School and graduated with pride, embarking on a life-long journey of compassion and service. He received his Theology degree from Christ Temple Bible College. Edwin retired from SORTA/Metro of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Edwin Butts was preceded in death by father, Eddie Lee Butts and mother, Albertine Abernathy Butts.

He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Marlene Butts; children, Edwin Butts, Jr. (Rosalyn), Michael Butts, Cedric Butts (Crystal), Antuan Walker (Kiesha), Thomas Walker, Natasha Walker, Samantha Walker and Deavyon Maywood; siblings, Theresa Butts and Sheree Cummings (Lewis); a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and many dear friends, who enriched his life and whom he deeply loved.
