Elaine Lillian Nelson

Elaine Lillian Nelson was born as Elaine Graham on January 6, 1940 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Ralph and Mildred Graham.

Elaine attended Hughes High School in Cincinnati, Ohio.

She later married Lawrence Meadows and welcomed Beverly Meadows (Matt Roberts), Deborah Meadows and Larry Meadows (Kimberly Meadows). Elaine remarried later to Woody Nelson and welcomed Woody Nelson (Trinae Nelson) and Charlene Nelson Foster (Rick Foster).

Mom loved her family and was blessed with five children, 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Mom loved the Lord with all her heart. She had a servant’s heart and also enjoyed the ladies conferences, especially if it involved traveling. Mom was ready to travel at the drop of a hat. And let’s not forget her beautiful hats she would wear. She was always present if you needed her!

Mom is survived by five out of 10 siblings: Bill Ballard, Michael Ballard, Marlene Ashley, Tonya Roberts and Julia Judy Anderson.

She loved cooking, baking and crocheting.

She will be missed by all the hearts she touched.
