Eliyah Danyel Yisrael Obituary

Eliyah Danyel Bell Yisrael, the self-proclaimed “King of the Party”, was born in Florence, Kentucky, to Elisheba (Curry) Yisrael and Ronald Elyyahu Smith Yisrael. Growing up in a lively family, with a few older siblings and a host of younger ones, he quickly learned that the middle child has a unique skill set: getting away with things and getting others in trouble.

Eliyah decided to make his grand exit from this world on Friday, September 20, 2024, surrounded by some of his beloved children, smiling and fussing until the end.

As a child, Eliyah was a sports enthusiast, with a particular fondness for football and boxing. Who knew that dodging tackles and throwing punches would come in handy for navigating family gatherings?

Growing up in Cincinnati, Eliyah attended Woodward High School and snagged his GED, proving that a diploma does not make the man — his brilliant arguments did! Though he never graduated from college, he valued a good education and could debate circles around even the most seasoned lawyers, often teaching them a thing or two.

An entrepreneur at heart, Eliyah worked hard, but his true job title was “Family Man”. He loved his children and family deeply. He was known for his honesty — sometimes a little too honest, as he never needed to be asked to share his opinions.

Life threw him some curveballs, but Eli hit them out of the park, always fighting for those he loved. He was a bright spark in any room, the guy who could turn a boring gathering into a real party, always pulling even the quietest into the fun.

Eliyah was preceded in death by his loving companion, Tameka Tremble and his daughter, Makaila Luckey, both of whom he missed dearly.

He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love and a whole lot of family: his parents, Elyyahu and Elisheba; his children, Lavonte, Eliyah, Yoseph, Queen, Tamirah, Yahema, King, Yahmeka, Yahel, Yahaylah and Messiah; grandchildren, Iyla and Ilyie, along with a brigade of siblings and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will remember him for his quick wit and even quicker smile.

Eliyah’s legacy of love, resilience and strength will shine forever in the hearts who knew him — probably challenging us to a debate or inviting us to join in the fun.

Until we meet again brother, Eliyah! You truly were one of a kind!
