Elizabeth Robinson

Elizabeth Robinson was born July 4, 1928 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late John Henry and Lillie (Cole) Johnson.  She entered into eternal peace on January 12, 2019.

Mom, as she was dearly called, would always say, “I’m a fire cracker baby” because she was born on the 4th of July.  She had such a witty sense of humor. Everyone that met her, enjoyed spending time with her.  Mom had such a humble spirit.  She appreciated everything that anyone would do or give her.  Many times she responded by, “Tata or Goody Goody” and always thank you.

Elizabeth joined Bibleway Church of God in Christ under the late Bishop Abraham Swanson.  She was a faithful member of the Senior and Mass Choir until her health declined.  One of her favorite songs that she lead was, “Look where he brought me from.”  Mom loved the Lord and now is at rest.

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course,

I have kept the faith.” – 2 Timothy 4:7

She was preceded in death by her four sisters, Margie, Alberta, Mamie and Johnnie Mae.

She leaves to cherish her memory:  three sons, Jerome (Shana), William and Mark Hunter; nine grandchildren, countless great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

When I would say, “I love you, Mom…“she would reply, “I loved you first.” 

Then I would reply, “I loved you, when I knew how to love you.”
