Eric Evan Dawson, Jr.

ERIC EVAN DAWSON, JR. was one of three children born to the parents of Eric and Kimberley Dawson. He was born on July 20, 1993, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He gave his life to Christ when he was eight years old and rededicated himself when he was 21. While in high school, Eric was a member of the Withrow High School Marching Band. He so loved playing the Tuba and being a part of the band. Eric graduated from high school in 2011.

He completed a semester at UC Blue Ash, then he went on to successfully complete a Construction Program through CAA. He loved working construction to provide for his family. If you knew Eric, you could attest to the fact that he was a loving man, who truly loved his family. His four children meant everything to him. He always wanted what was best for them.

Eric was preceded in death by his grandfather, James E. Brantley, Sr.; grandmother, Jacqueline Dawson; and his son, Amazion J. Dawson.

Eric leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Kimberley Brantley-Dawson (Jason); father, Eric Dawson, Sr. (Trina); grandmother, Essie Brantley (James); sisters, Shawnteala Cade (Isaac) and Karinne Bamgbose (Leland); aunts, Teri Brantley, Kim Gibson and Monica Haywood (Roosevelt); uncle, James E. Brantley, Jr.; children, Zariah Dawson, Eric J. Dawson III, Meilani Dawson and Mi’Angel Dawson; nephews, Javyair Bradford and Amari Cade; as well as a host of cousins and dear friends.
