Franklyn Travis Howard was born on May 30, 1983, to Theresa Towns and Franklyn Howard in San Francisco, California. He spent most of his life in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he attended and graduated from Withrow High School in 2001. After graduating, Franklyn enrolled at Cincinnati State Technical College. In 2024, he proudly earned his Pharmacy Technician license.
Franklyn had a love for life and brought enthusiasm and kindness to those around him. He was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever he could. He devoted much of his time to assisting his mother, working on the family home, maintaining vehicles, and caring for his daughter.
In recent years, the bond he shared with his daughter helped Travis grow into an even better man. Family was very important to him, and he did his best to keep those he loved close and connected. Franklyn also enjoyed spending time with his friends, creating memories, and traveling on vacations.
Franklyn will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, John and Frances Cooper, and his aunt, Judi Barton (husband Terry). He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Analyse D. Thacker "Reese"; his mother, Theresa Towns; his aunt, Laura Chun (husband Marc); his first cousins, Kenya Bolton, Jasmine Barton, Erika Cooper, Nicholas Wise, and Theresa Carroll (husband Jason); and a host of extended family members and friends who will continue to honor his legacy.
