Obituary

Georgia Mae Warren Bradshaw was born on May 14, 1938 in Jessamine County, KY to the late J.W. Warren and Bettie Frances Warren (Hall). She accepted Christ at an early age and attended Macedonia Blackbridge Baptist Church in Jessamine County, KY. She was a 1956 graduate of Rosenwald Dunbar High School.

On February 8, 1957, Georgia was united in holy matrimony to the late Robert Curtis Bradshaw. This union lasted for over 56 love filled years. Their union was blessed with one son, Dwayne Curtis Bradshaw, Sr.

In the early years of their marriage, Georgia lived in New Mexico and Alaska with her husband Robert, as a result of his military enlistment. They finally settled in Columbus, OH. Once settled, Georgia briefly worked at Western Electric. She then worked at Arrow Draperies, where she was the Supervisor. She retired from this position in 2012, to take care of her ailing husband.

Georgia was a kind, gentle, caring woman who loved everyone. Most importantly, she loved God and her family and friends. She will be missed by all whose lives she has touched.

Georgia leaves to cherish her love and memory: her son, Dwayne C. Bradshaw, Sr. (Ursula); grandchildren, Dwayne C. Bradshaw, Jr. and Kyrah Gayle; sister, Faye Bingham; sister-like cousin, Mrs. Anna Black;sister-in-law, Ms.JoMae Bradshaw; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and close family like friends.

Special thanks to Nancy and James Morton, and cousin Raymond T. (Butch) Mitchell, for helping and supporting Georgia during the last few years of her life.
