Helen King

HELEN FLORENCE (WHITE) KING was born in Cincinnati Ohio on February 11, 1921 to Consie Phillips White and Felix White.

At an early age, she joined The First Baptist Church, sang in the Church choir and did whatever job in the Church that was asked of her.

Mom was preceded in death by her Parents, her Husband Willie L {Jack) King, Sister Margaret White {Murrell) Collier, and two Brothers, James and Leon White, Son William Aaron King Sr. and Grandson William Aaron King Jr.

Mom attended Kirby Road School where she excelled in academics and athletics, and Hughes High School. After high school, Mom worked in the home of the Hoxworth family. She later worked as a Nurses Aid at Bethesda Hospital. She retired from the hospital after 25 years of caring for patients. Mom soon became bored with retirement life and decided to work part time at the Lincoln Heights Community Center and Sam's Big Box Store handing out food samples. Mom enjoyed all of her jobs.

Mom leaves to cherish her precious memories a devoted Daughter Karen D. Ayres-King, Granddaughters Sharon McMillan {D'Andre), Felicia Bohanon {Edward), Grandsons Brandon {Dorcas), Dante King, Erik Akeem Ayers, and Gregory Evans, Daughter-in-Laws Cassandra and Lisa King, 26 Great-Grand Kids, 3 Nieces and 3 Nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews.
