Jacquelyn Evonne Anderson was born on December 3, 1946, in Middletown, Ohio to Elgin “Ike” and Emma Marshall. Jackie was the eldest of six children. She peacefully transitioned on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at the age of 77.
She graduated from Middletown High School in 1964 where she stated working for the government until she retired in 1990. She then started working for Middletown Regional Hospital where she began furthering her education at Miami University to receive her bachelors in science degree in Nurse in 1994. She continued to have a successful career as a Registered Nurse until she retired in 2011 to focus on her family where she babysat her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a faithful and devoted minister at Faith Fellowship under the leadership of Bishop David Green, Jr., where she served on the praise team, the finance board, the prison ministry, usher board as well as over the ushers, bible study teacher, elder, ministers coordinator and Bishop Green’s personal secretary. She was a member and secretary of the ministerial alliance for roughly 2 years. She volunteered with the Butler County Big Brother and Sisters club as well as member of time of studies under the leadership of Pastor Leon Wilkerson and Bishop David Green Jr.
Outside of the time that she spent with her family and traveling with her husband, Jackie loved to craft. She loved to sew, make greeting cards, crochet, cook, bake and more.
She was preceded in death by her parents Elgin and Emma Marshall; sister, Iva (Frank) Brown; sister-in-law, Deidra Marshall; Brother-in-law, Charles Herndon and two nephews, Charles “Bumper” Herndon and Teray “Damon” Marshall.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband of 50 years, Donald Anderson Sr.; Siblings, Patricia Herndon, Claudia Burg, Robert Marshall Sr., and Gary Marshall; Daughters, Yvette Hunter, Donesia Eborall and Dejuanna Anderson Harmon; Sons, Donald Anderson Jr. and Darren Anderson; Grandchildren, Yolanda (Brandon), Jalessa, Taliyah, Tyshay, Halle, Kaelynn, Daija, Davonte, Devin, Jaylon and Jordan; 10 special great-grandchildren; a special nephew and niece John Burg and Taylor Quinn and friend Ann Person.
