James A. Harrison was born on April 21st, 1942, in Birmingham, Alabama, to the late James Harrison and Essie Mae Collins Harrison. He departed for his heavenly home on November the 7th at 10:07 am at Hospice of Cincinnati.
James confessed Christ at an early age.
James met Lorretta and fell in love, were united in holy matrimony on July 25th, 1960. After marriage, they were inseparable; When you see one, you see another. They welcomed everyone in their home, 1914 Dalewood Place, with open arms. In this union, a daughter Antoinette Harrison Withers was born.
James officially retired at the age of 76 years old. James was a hardworking and dedicated supervisor for the Village of Golf Manor for 33 years. He followed that by working for Camargo Cadillac, where he served for 19 years. He often employed many family members, including his son-in-law, Toni Withers.
James had a charming smile, was always pleasant to be around, and had a cool walk cruising in his Stacy Adam’s shoes that he loved. James was loved by many people. To know James was to love him.
James enjoyed many things in life, like cooking, and fishing, he also loved his cars, and his bikes. But what he cherished the most in life was the moments he spent with his loving family. His grandchildren Anthony (TJ), Andrea (Angel) and Andre (Dre), the joys of his life included his great-grandchildren Aionnah, Kingston, Andre, Amaya, Aydan, and A’zaria.
