James J. Williams was born on Aril 23, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Albert and Odell Williams.
James graduated from DePorres Highschool, a Cincinnati Archdiocese Highschool for African American males. He worked at the United States Postal Service from April, 1960 to February 3, 1995 as a Mail Handler.
James wife of 44 years, Barbara Ann preceded him in death on September 13, 2011. He is the last of his eight siblings, who all preceded him in death.
James is survived by 3 children, 6 grand children and 2 great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews. James raised his children to do the following: use money and do not let money use you, respect the "good Lord" and always keep family first, be quiet and pay attention - you do not need to ask allot of questions-the "Room" will let you know what is going on!

Graveside Service will be a brief presentation and prayer officiated by Father Ronald Haft.
