Jeffery S. "Pete" Southall was born to Charles and Claudette Southall in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 30, 1960. He was called home February 20, 2020 at the tender age of 59, but he fought a hard battle.
He attended Princeton High School graduating in the class of ’79.
He came into Kendez’s life at the age of 9 and Ka’shyra’s life at the age of 6. He married Nikki Sanders on April 25, 2003 and also gave Kendez and Ka'shyra rings, marrying them too.
He was a loving husband and a great father. He loved to fish, take care of his dogs and spend time with his friends watching football and boxing matches. He also loved to help others. No job was too big for Pete.
When he was younger, he liked to draw. He had a book about dogs and would draw the pictures of the dogs. He always told stories of delivering newspapers with his father, brothers and sometimes his childhood friends. He always loved animals and his pitbulls. At a young age, he liked Jazz music. He was always a music man. He would BBQ and listen to his music and you couldn’t tell him nothing. He’s loved football since a young boy and was a spectacular running back for Princeton High School; winning the State Championship in 1978/1979.
He had good work ethics. He worked at Gentile Brothers for almost 25 years and in his last working days, at BGR Packaging Supply. He always had a side hustle – doing lawns or scrapping.
He was preceded home by: his parents, Charles and Claudette and sister, Fayetta. Left to cherish his memory are: his wife Nikki; children, Kendez (Dashya) and Ka’shyra; grandson, Keontae Jr; sisters, Charlotte and Cheryl (James); brothers Curtis, Garry, Kenneth (Asia), Alfred (Charlotte) and Mark (Olivia); brother in spirit, Wally (Renee); mother-in-law, Faye; father-in-law, Alvin (Phyllis); sisters-in-law, Tracy (Lamont) and Sha -Mai; brother-in-law, LaEric, and he’ll forever be remembered by uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
