Jennifer Reynolds

Jennifer S. Reynolds was called home to be with our Lord on Thursday, October 3, 2024. She was born on August 10, 1955, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Ruth Cornist and Robert Starkey, Sr. This woman was and is a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She expressed love in many different ways. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with all her heart. Along with her parents, Jennifer was preceded in death by her stepfather, John D. Cornist; brothers, Robert and Daniel Starkey; and sisters, Angela S. Brown and Beverly S. Jones.

Jennifer gave her life to Christ at an early age. She was a member of Progressive Baptist Church. Later in Jennifer’s adult life, she moved her membership to St. Paul A.M.E. Church where she was a steadfast member.

Jennifer graduated from Hughes High School and obtained her Associate’s degree from the University of Cincinnati in Early Childhood Development. She worked for the Cincinnati Public Schools and also worked at Southern Baptist Daycare and St. Leo. In Jennifer’s spare time, she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and watching game shows. She also was a big Bengals fan.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her high school sweetheart of 47 years, Jefferson Robert, Jr.; her children, Jacquetta S. Reynolds, Jessica N. (David) McBride, Jefferson R. Reynolds III and Jajuan T. Reynolds; one sister, Diane Gaye; four grandchildren, Jaidyn,, Jailynn Reynolds, Cheyenne Reynolds and Juliana McBride; and a host of nieces and nephews, along with a ton of other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

We loved you, Jennifer, but God loved you best.
