Obituary

Jeremiah Jamar Borders, known by family and friends as “Jerry”, was born on October 22, 1998, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the union of Gene and Karen Borders and was the youngest of three children.

Jeremiah’s early years at the age of about 1 year old, Jerry’s birth mother took ill and blessed his care to his aunt, Gerlrenee Princess and uncle, Anthony Bayless which became his legal parents aka Mom and Dad. Jerry grew up in Fairfield, Ohio, attending Fairfield City Schools and later Mt. Healthy City Schools where he played football. Jerry exhibited a strong personality at a very young age, and he never met a stranger. His love for people and conversation was unmatched. Jeremiah always had a quote, even at the age of 2 years old. His first quote was “Pretty Much”. He was intellectually clever for his age. Jerry was also very energetic, loved to dance, his charm, and his love surely will keep us entertained for a lifetime. Jerry’s big sister, Natasha made it her goal that when she got old enough, she would get both of her brothers, and that she did. By the time Jerry reached his early teen years, Tasha had reached her goal of taking on the role of sister/mom.

During Jerry’s teen years living with his sister, he attended Youth Build of Kentucky, a school program for high schoolers to obtain their High School Diplomas while also obtaining a skill/trade in construction. Jerry completed the program, receiving his High School Diploma and Osha Certification. Not long after graduation, he then completed an internship and worked for Red Bike Cincinnati. Later, he entered a program called Lift the Tristate, where he received his certificate for forklift and cherry picking. Jerry was very handy, creative, intelligent and extremely talented. After a while, Jerry went back to school as a young adult to obtain his CDL and began his career as a semi-truck driver for Western Express. He accomplished so much in his short time with us.

Although he excelled in various areas, when it came to dancing, Jerry was the GOAT, with electrifying and contagious aura that everyone could feel. A young man by the name of Terrez Williams aka Skoota noticed the same remarkable qualities that many grew to know. Skoota then introduced Jerry to the dance group, Sauce Champaign, which he later joined. During his time with the dance group, he had the opportunity to enter dance battles, perform, meet a few famous people and travel. Jerry was very musically inclined like his family. He could also sing, rap, play guitar, and let’s not forget his comical personality. Dude was funny!!! A man of many styles, faces and names, Jerry was known to some as Kaio, Shilo, Supreme Sobe and Jake from State Farm.

Jerry leaves to celebrate his life: his beloved mother, Karen Borders; father, Gene Borders; mom/aunt, Gerlrenee Princess Bayless; dad/uncle, Anthony Bayless; sister/mom, Natasha Taylor; brother, Gene Borders, Jr.; sister, Antrenee Bayless; niece, Elysia M. Thornberry; best friend, Timur Baltabaev; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Jeremiah Borders, a fun-loving, awesome soul, gone too soon. Jerry’s most used Quotes: “Kant Worry Bout It”, “I just told ya” and “Say Less”.
