Celebrating the Life of Jerrone “Ronnie” Lyn Bryant

Jerrone “Ronnie” Lyn Bryant of Cincinnati, Ohio, was born on January 5, 1961, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Luther and Hattie Bryant. Ronnie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and cherished friend whose presence brought love, laughter, and unforgettable memories to the lives of all who knew him.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Luther and Hattie Bryant, and his sister, Pamela Young.

Ronnie leaves to cherish his beautiful memory, his faithful, devoted helpmate and loving wife, Vanessa Bryant; his daughter, Unique Mattison; and his treasured grandson, Xavier Mattison, who brought great joy and love to his life.

He is also survived by his loving sisters and brother: Tommie (Mose) Hardin, Myrtice Nelson, Josephine Bryant, Linda Bryant, Gregory Bryant, and Felicia (Damon) Peavy, along with seventeen nieces and nephews who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Ronnie also leaves behind his best friends, Tyrone Finley and Mike Ellsworth, who shared countless memories, laughter, conversations, and special moments with him throughout the years. Their friendship was a meaningful part of his life. He was fondly embraced and cherished the love and support he received from his Cincinnati Family, The Davis Crew.

Ronnie proudly served his country in the United States Army for eight years, demonstrating the strength, dedication, and commitment that were such important parts of who he was. He also worked for Skilkin Management, where he dedicated himself to his work and the people around him.

Anyone who knew Ronnie knew there was one thing he loved almost as much as his family—Cincinnati Bengal football. He had been a devoted Bengals fan since he was just eight years old. Through the wins, the losses, and every exciting Sunday, Ronnie proudly stood by his team. His love for the Bengals was a part of his personality and one of the many things those closest to him will remember with a smile.

Ronnie was a man who loved deeply and created memories that will never fade. His family and friends will remember his laughter, his personality, his loyalty, his stories, and the love he shared with those around him. Though his earthly journey has come to an end, the impact he made on the hearts of those who loved him will continue forever.

We may no longer hear his voice or see his smile, but Ronnie’s love will live on through his wife, daughter, grandson, siblings, nieces, nephews, friends, and everyone blessed to have known him.
