Joinee Y. Clark, daughter of Diana Clark and the late David Lee Thompson, was born on March 25, 1969 in Cincinnati, Ohio (Lincoln Heights).
Joinee gained her wings and a seat at the table in the kingdom with the Lord on March 21, 2024. Joinee was the second youngest child of her four siblings, Angela Clark, Geneva Clark, William Clark and Karen Clark who was the closest in age and in heart, along with their godsent sister, Amanda Robinson; they were inseparable.
Joinee was raised in Lincoln Heights (Oak Park), where she attended Lincoln Heights Elementary then proceeded to Princeton High School. She was athletic in the sport of Basketball and had a passion for the Art of writing and singing. Joinee would later become a State Tested Nurse Assistant because her passion to help others always outweighed anything else in her life. She was a Caregiver by nature and in profession, giving over 30 years of dedication touching lives in so many facilities within Cincinnati.
Joinee gave a bright light and a helping hand to anyone in need, strangers were included because she had a heart of gold. To know her was a blessing and to love her was an honor. Joinee was resilient and courageous; her strength and will was a superpower of natural love, genuine care and an honest heart.
Her two daughters, Britney Clark and Brandi Clark were the center of her world for most of her life and then God blessed her with her son, Braylen Clark whom she adored and gave abundance of love and over-whelming joy to. For her grandchildren, Daequon Clark, Ka’Marrie Clark, Au’Nia Clark, Aubrielle Clark, Princess Cooper and Paris Cooper, she had a special brand of love and support — it was warm, it was kind, and it was unconditional. Her nieces, Keyona Clark, Kaneisha Clark and nephews, Rico Clark, James Clark, Kevin Clark and her late nephew, Kendall Chapple were treated like her own. Her closet friends, Carolyn Nichols, Gloria and Benlinetta Stallworth were treated like family. Joinee will be truly missed by her entire family.
