Joseph Woolfolk

Joseph Kenneth Woolfolk was born to the union of Joseph and Helen Woolfolk in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Joseph attended Purcell Marion High School, Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio and the University of Cincinnati, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree.

Joseph joined the Army in 1,965. He received the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. After leaving the Service, Jo worked at Shillito's Department Store, General Motors and taught Spanish in the Cincinnati Public Schools. He retired from General Motors.

Joseph's family thanks the staff of Indian Springs Nursing Home who provided comfort care to Joe and his family, as well as Jackie Owens and Harold Tolliver.

On Monday, August 7, 2018,Joseph succumbed peacefully after a brief illness at Indian Springs of Oakley in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Woolfolk, mother, Helen Woolfolk, and uncle, Clarence Woolfolk, Sr.
