Joseph V. Norman, Jr.

Joseph Vernon Norman, Jr. Gone too soon.....loved so much.  Our heavenly father called to him eternal rest. Our son, brother and father Joseph V. Norman Jr. on Monday December 28, 2020 around 11:26 pm at home with sister Pamela and family in Springdale, Ohio after several years of a long-term illness.

He was a resident of Cincinnati, Ohio in the community of Clifton Heights and raised in the community of Evanston and Walnut Hills. He was born on April 23, 1959 to Joseph V. and Betty E. Norman Sr.

Joseph accepted the Most High Father as his savior raised in the church at St. James A.M.E of Covington, Kentucky and attended for many years throughout his lifetime. He held various duties at the church, Usher, van driver, mechanic, and landscaping.

Joseph was a proud graduate of Hughes High School where he returned back to acquire his high school diploma and went on to pursue an associates degree from Betz Community college. During his teenage years he acquired his love for cars, motorcycles and engine powered GO Kart racing from working at a body shop. As a youth he had a talent for drawing and the clarinet and won many trophies in GO Kart racing. His love grew from there till now his passion for cars and cleaning them. He worked at General Electric as an engine inspector for more than 15 years then pursued his dream to be an entrepreneur. The owner and operator of J’s Hand Detailing Car Wash in Lockland, Ohio for more than 17 years. He moved his career on to John Morrell Co. and St. Bernard Soap Company where he was currently employed for more than 13 years until his illness prevented him from working and at that point still gave of himself unselfishly.

Joseph is preceded in death by his mother: Betty E.(maiden)Farmer, grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Elijah. Farmer and Prescilla Sutton, Nephew: Edward L. Jackson Jr.

Joseph leaves to cherish many memories: his father Joseph V. Norman Sr., Three siblings Kenneth E. Norman(Tonya), Pamela R. Shannon (Steven) and James W. Conner III U.S Marine Corp.(Deana). Five sons: Joseph Vernon III, Hugh Vernon, Julius Javarr (Billie),Justin Jamarr(Iesha) D’Andre Lamont. Two daughters: Chantel Latrice and Acciani Renee’. Six grandchildren: Anise Blake, Liona Pearl, Eli Judah, Aubree Jean, Ava Isabella and Princess Adona Joelle’. A special nephew Michael G. Shannon. A host of nephews, nieces, aunts, cousins and friends.
