Junita Foster

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Junita Williams-Foster of Newport Kentucky. Junita was born in Cynthiana, Kentucky on July 2, 1938, to the late Stella and Lawrence Williams. The family resided in her early years in Falmouth, Kentucky. She began working at St. Elizabeth North Hospital at the age of 16 and was employed there for her entire career which spanned over 50 years. For the majority of her work life, she was a Nurse Assistant in the Obstetrics ward taking care of the area’s newest, tiniest residents.

Junita leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter Valerie and son Scott, Her daughters-in-law Suzette and Tracy, brothers-in-law Leonard (Doris) Foster and Wayne Foster, step daughter Karen Bell, step-son Mark Foster, niece Beverly Roberts, grandchildren Marcus (Lisa), Jeremy, Douglas M, Domonique, Lauren, Kevin, Alfred Bell, William Bell, Rogeny Bell, Tess Barnhart and Brandon Barnhart, great-grandchildren Latasha, Jasmine, Deasia O’brien, Xaria, Xarion, Brayden, Dominick, Camden, Camauri Farmer, Qiryn Calloway, Alex Suiter, and Anthony Suiter, great-niece Chanitra Roberts, great-nephew Tristan Roberts, great-great-grandchildren Kendall Bass, Kaison Bass, Cameron Colvin, Kash Hoskins, Ace Hoskins, Isabel O’brien, Logan O’brien and Ian O’brien, cousins Patrice McCray, Dwayne (Myoshi) Morris, Tara (Humphrey) Englemon, Rana Henry and Sasha (Jason) Mays.

Junita was preceded in death by her husband Lorenzo, her parents Stella and Lawrence, brothers Samuel and Calvin Williams, sister Juett Roberts, her beloved aunt and uncle Frances and Bud Harris, son Douglas L: great-granddaughter Madison, granddaughter Shari Bell, sister-in-law Cheryl Foster-Johnson, dear friend Janice Riley and best cousin ever Annabelle Morris.
