Karen Lanette Clark was born on February 15, 1970 to Diane Clark and Conley J. Scott, Jr. Her birth was interesting as she was born on a bridge in Lockland during a snow storm. This probably had a lot to do with her strong character and courageous heart.
Karen attended Lincoln Heights Elementary and Princeton High School. Later on in her life, she attended Lincoln College where she received her Associates degree for Medical Assistance.
Karen was a Jane of all trades. She worked and enjoyed many fields until she decided on her career with the City of Cincinnati.
Karen was a devoted Daughter, Mother, Sister, Auntie, Nanna and Friend. She was family-oriented and loved spending time with every-one. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, Bingo, the casino, movies and music. She also had a special passion for books.
Karen lost her battle to cancer on December 18, 2024.
She is preceded in death by her son, Kendall Mack Chapple, Jr.; her loving sister and best friend, Joinee Yolanda Clark; her dear friend and sister, Amanda Robinson; and other friends and family that she cared about.
Karen leaves to celebrate her memory: her mother, Diane Clark; her father, Conley J. Scott (Theresa); her daughters, Keyona Clark and Kaneisha Clark; her sisters, Angela, Geneva, Carolyn, Michelle and Faye Jean; her brothers, William, Shelby, Tony and Conley III; her nieces, Britney, KaMarrie, Princess and Paris, Brandi, Aunia and Aubrielle; her nephews, Rico, James, Kevin, Daequon and Braylen; and last, but not least, her grandchildren, Kamoni, Torrian, Torrance and Kaniyla; and a host of other great nieces, nephews and close cousins.
We will greatly miss you. Forever in our hearts.
