Kelvin Hill, “KHill” as he was most affectionately known, was born October 5, 1965 in Champaign, Illinois to Vergie Mai Hill (Murray) and William Harris Hill. Kelvin grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio where he attended Douglass Elementary School and graduated from Woodward High School in 1984. He graduated from Wilberforce University and was a proud Air Force Veteran. Kelvin loved teaching and served as a Long-Term Substitute with Cincinnati Public Schools, where he taught at Woodward High School for over 10 years. He was also a well-known Realtor throughout the Cincinnati area. He ultimately went on to work with Delta Airlines, where he pursued his dream of traveling the world.
Kelvin, “King of BDP” and life of the party, never left the house without his selfie stick and enjoyed putting smiles on the faces of everyone he encountered through his quick witted humor and outgoing nature. His favorite quotes were “Don’t go to bed as dumb as you woke up”, “The World is being run by accident” and “Keep Breathing”. Kelvin was a proud father and loved his children deeply.
Kelvin passed away on March 6, 2023 from complications of Guillain-Barre’ Syndrome, which he was diagnosed with while on vacation traveling in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Kelvin is preceded in death by his mother, Vergie Mai Hill (Murray); father, William Harris Hill; and nephew, Marcus Jeters. He is survived by: his children; daughter, Rian Quaison (Enoch) and sons, TiVon Hill and Tre Pate; his brothers, Vada Hill and Darryl Hill; and firstborn grand-daughter, Gigi Elizabeth Quaison. He is also survived by a host of close friends and family.
